With 10 years experience in the helping field and a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology, Erin (she/hers) continuously strives to connect with people from all walks of life. She believes the connection within the counselling relationship is an integral component of understanding yourself and your challenges. Erin has adapted an integrative and trauma-informed approach tailored to each client’s individual needs.
Counselling is a collaborative process where counsellor and client work together to develop perspective and understanding. Through a nurturing, safe and non-judgemental environment, Erin will acknowledge your resilience and help you feel heard, validated and encouraged. Within the therapeutic environment, Erin will help you build awareness in order to cultivate change, acceptance, and growth in a meaningful way.
Erin has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, acute crisis, suicide, schizoaffective symptoms, borderline personality disorder, addiction and problematic substance use, intellectual disabilities, families and children. Erin takes great pride in her work and is constantly researching the most cutting edge, effective therapy tools.
Erin believes that people deserve to feel connected. She understands the vulnerability of counselling and will actively work to make her clients feel as comfortable as possible.
Erin is an approved provider with the BC Crime Victim Assistance Program.
