Geetika has a real passion for mental health and brings valuable experience in supporting a wide range of individuals. She believes in an intersectional approach to therapy, emphasizing how our unique experiences of privilege and oppression are shaped by the various visible and invisible identities we each hold.
In particular, Geetika has worked closely with South Asian immigrant youth and adults, helping them navigate their mental health needs. She has also been a great help to other newcomers to Canada, who encounter various challenges as they navigate their own unique journeys here. As an immigrant herself, she truly understands the ups and downs of adjusting to life in a new country.
Geetika is registered with the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) as a counsellor. She holds a Master’s in Applied Psychology with Specialization in Clinical Psychology.
